Right to Healthcare... According to whom exactly?

Hallelujiah! The government finally provided us the "right to Healthcare"! Thank the Lord almig... no wait... How come Healthcare is now a right and it wasn't a "Right" last week? or is it a "Right" at all?

Well, after reading the Declaration of Independence last night (after the Heavenly Democratic Party and their Angels that helped push the cause through) I noticed that according to Thomas Jefferson that true rights are "self-evident...endowed by their Creator". I then asked myself, "why is it that our politicians, and even the American People, claim that Health Care is a right? Why is it that we now need to have the Government Mandate through 2700 pages of Law that health care is a Right to every American?" I started putting this together in my head, and posted this on my Facebook page.

If a person CLAIMS a "right", but in order to get that right fulfilled, requires of another person to involuntarily sacrifice their life, their effort, their mind, their knowledge, their property, their money, or their INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM through coercion, or through tax, or at the point of a gun in order to recieve this so-called "right", then I or anyone else that must involuntarily sacrifice is not free. That... IS slavery, bondage, and oppression! If you must require a sacrifice from someone for your "right", than you have enslaved someone to your NEED...

Now ask yourself this, in regards to "health-care"... who's freedom, property, knowledge, effort, or money are you going to take from, in order to CLAIM your "Right to Healthcare"?

And what does "healthcare right" even mean?

What level of healthcare is a "right"?

Is an aspirin a sufficient "right" for you to claim from the producer of aspirin?

Is an appendectomy a sufficient "right" for you to claim from a surgeon?

Is an organ transplant a "right" for you to claim from an unwilling donor? While at the same time claim a right to the surgeon's ability to perform the procedure?

What amount of "healthcare" can I claim from a doctor who has spent years of his life dedicated to his work and to the study of medicine, sacrificing his time, effort, life and mind? Would all of his/her body, and mind, and life be something that I can declare as MINE? "IT IS MY RIGHT TO HEALTHCARE, AND YOUR MIND AND EFFORT CAN GIVE IT TO ME!, so give me healthcare! And save my life! It is my right!"... Heh??? This is being spoken by this Law, the Lawmakers that pass it, and the moochers (us) that will claim it as their own, and then complain about long lines.

So then, what about the doctor's "rights"? What "rights" can they claim from us? Can they expect a fair exchange? In return to that doctor for my health, does he have a claim on my money, or my substance, my home, or my services for providing that "healthcare"? The disgusting answer that our politicians, and "WE THE PEOPLE of THE UNITED STATES" have given is... NO! "It's Free Health Care! This is a Democracy and the majority elected these politicians to get it for us". The "Government" will pay for it, and where does "Government" get their money?

The answer is becoming, "we the government will decide (tell you) how much of our substance or money we will exchange for your mind and effort. We are the government and we set the price, you worry about sacrificing yourself for the common good. The amount of effort, and knowledge and the value of our lives has no bearing on the value of your services that you are providing to us. Just take your change and keep on giving us your brains."

Now, ask yourself this question if you are still reading... Who of you is going to sacrifice all of the time and effort required to become a doctor of any sort, if this is the foundation of principles that govern the healthcare industry? If your answer is a less than it was in the current system... What do you think will happen to the current number of doctors in the industry, and soon to enter the industry??? Then remember this... The whole point of the "HEALTH CARE CRISIS" action is based on the fact that we have 40,000,000 uninsured Americans, and we need to add them to the health insurance roles...

What is the next logical conclusion? Well... most likely less doctors, health care shortages, drop in investment in our health care system, which leads to a drop in quality, reduced knowledge of care which leads to poor care, etc etc etc.

Just think Public Education. Replace your existing Doctor with your 3rd Grade Teacher... And your current Local Nurse, with your Elementary Office Administrator... Yeah... no thanks. I like my current ambitious, well-educated, motivated, Entrepreneurial, Capitalist Doctor... For some reason I think the fact that he likes driving a nice car and having lots of money makes him a better doctor. I don't think that my 3rd Grade Teacher that decided on Education because it "had good benefits" would make a good doctor, or look good driving a Mercedes.

Remember... There is not a single beauracrat in Washington, or individual state governments that can perform a lifesaving surgery... They can only force those who do have the ability, to provide it to you through regulation, laws, and at the point of a gun... I don't want my doctor taking out my appendix at the point of a gun or because he has to or he will lose his license... especially when there a line of people out the door that he has to see because the government requires him to.

As a former marine, I was willing to sacrifice my life for the freedom of this country and it's citizens. I say SHAME ON YOU AMERICA FOR DISGRACING all those who protected this country and its constitution, fought, bled, and died for it's morality and liberty. Not just military men and women, but the hardworking americans, businessmen, mothers, fathers, and GOOD God fearing politicians who undertand the importance of freedom to our country, they are just as much fighters of freedom as any Marine.

If you ask yourself "what can i do? I didnt serve in the military." Fight for freedom by educating yourself about why America is great, and stand up and speak out! You will find that we are great because we have been free. We have become great because we have been protected by our founding fathers wisdom in creating laws that limit our governments ability to oppress us. The laws that are being enacted now, and for the last 100 years are usurping the limitations that were put in place by our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Without those limitations, the government will be able to enforce any oppressive law, or tax, or regulation that it may claim is "necessary", and they will enforce them at the point of a gun... when necessary.

What does that mean to you? Well first off, in the coming decades or sooner, we won't be thanking people in uniform for freedom anymore, we will be begging for it with no ability to fight for it anymore. Let's wake up!
